4 years Bachelor's degree or 3 years Bachelor's + 2 years Master's with minimum 55% from a recognised university, the degree must include at least 90 credits within health and care sciences, behavioral science, social work, disability research, or educational sciences, including independent, theoretical based work, i.e. a thesis or the equivalent work that demonstrates that the applicant has conducted independent, systematic research and formally written about this research (e.g. participation in work-based research; participation in research methods courses).

Please note Students from Punjab & Haryana regions are not accepted by Jonkoping University. IELTS/TOEFL/PTE is a mandatory requirement. TOEFL overall required score is 90 with no band less than 20 in Writing and PTE overall required score is 62 with no band less than 61 in writing. Students from Sri Lanka with an 'F' grade in English at GCE A-Level must provide an English test scorecard; IELTS/TOEFL waiver is not possible. Application period for August 2026 intake is 16th October 2025 - 15th January 2026. JU Direct Application period is from 16th October 2025 to 15th May 2026.
