B2 Level English is Required - University does NOT accept English as a medium of secondary education as an exemption. Applicants to the BSc in Applied Economics are required to complete a Mathematics entrance test as part of the admission process. The exam is conducted online through SkillCert and is designed to assess basic mathematical competency. The test consists of 26 questions to be completed within 60 minutes, and applicants receive a score out of 100 points. Admission is granted on a conditional basis to applicants who score above the required threshold, which may vary depending on the programme and the admission year. The questions are typically of two types: problem solving and data sufficiency, and require knowledge of arithmetic, elementary algebra, and geometry. The mathematics test may be waived for applicants who meet certain academic criteria. These include achieving grade 3 or higher in AP Mathematics (AB or BC), 27 or above in the ACT Mathematics section, IB Mathematics with a minimum of SL 5 or HL 4, at least 45% in the Advanced level Matura exam (Emelt Érettségi) in Mathematics in Hungary, grade 6 (or B) or higher in Mathematics GCSE/IGCSE, or a grade B or above in A-level Mathematics.
