A bachelor’s degree with minimum 55% in a subject considered relevant for teaching. Attend a selection interview. Must meet the Teaching Council's Good Character and Fit to be a Teacher requirements. Applicants are required to make a declaration about any convictions, health and other issues that may affect their fitness to be a teacher.
Student will required to pay services levy of $1,222 separately. All applicants must have a senior (Year 11-13) and a junior (Year 9-10) teaching subject area supported by relevant courses in their degree. Applicants must have at least one appropriate 300-level course in their senior area and one 200-level course in their junior area. IELTS Academic Online and PTE Academic Online are not accepted. PTE Academic: Overall score of 69 with 61 in Listening, 62 in Reading, 73 in Writing and 79 in Speaking. TOEFL iBT (Internet Based TOEFL): Overall score of 98 and the following scores in each module: Listening - 24; Reading - 24; Writing - 27; Speaking – 23.
