Minimum 55% in 4 years Bachelor's degree Or 3 years Bachelor's Degree + 2 years Master's degree, with a major in the subject areas of biology, biomedicine or computer science (or the equivalent). The biological area can be defined as, e.g. Bioinformatics, Systems Biology, Molecular Biology or Microbiology. Additionally, passed courses of at least 7.5 credits in Bioinformatics, 7.5 credits in Cell Biology and 15 credits in Programming are required (or the equivalent).

IELTS/TOEFL/PTE is a mandatory requirement. TOEFL overall required score is 90 with no band less than 20 in Writing and PTE overall required score is 62 with no band less than 61 in writing. Students from Sri Lanka with an 'F' grade in English at GCE A-Level must provide an English test scorecard; IELTS/TOEFL waiver is not possible. Application Period for Jan. 2026 intake is from 2nd Jun to 15th Aug 2025.
